Amazon may be great for US & other countries. But for India eBay is still better choice.
Why?
When you buy product from amazon, there is a-z guarantee claim. So if you shipment is not delivered you can claim to get reshipped or money refund etc.
This guarantee is not available for India.
I placed order on 11th Oct which should have arrived by 4th Nov.
Since I did not received shipment & USPS does not provide you exact location of shipment I opt for claim on 10th Nov.
Amazon took 7 days to conclude, since a-z guarantee is not available for india in their database, claim can not be proceed.
Following is the mail I received

Conclusion.
I lost 23$ to Amazon.
This was my first purchase from Amazon & probably last. I usually prefer eBay / flipkart who atleast respond to consumer on time. Whereas Amazon takes days to respond to every small query.
For me amazon is pathetic in service & Indians should stay away from it.
