Access Gmail Offline.
Most of us access Gmail from web & are dependent on Gmail.
Gmail can also be configured in mail clients such as Thunderbird, Outlook Express..
Still most of us prefer using it on web.
Gmail has released offline plugin / lab.
To use Gmail Offline
Logonto your Gmail account –> Click on settings –> Labs.
Enable Offline & save.
Once after enabling offline, your inbox will get reload & Offline link will appear.
Click on Offline link & install.
Gmail Offline required Gears support, if you do not have gears installed following screen will appear to install.
Once Gear is installed, you need to restart your browser.
Relogin to your account & click on offline. Following screen will appear, allow it.
It will prompt for Shortcut creation.
Synchronizing Gmail account.
Click on Gmail icon on desktop to start using Gmail offline.
Now you can compose mails offline, on availability of Internet connection mails will be sent automatically.
